Welcome to the CML NDP Slack community!

We want the CML NDP Slack to be a fun and respectful environment where NDP supporters feel comfortable engaging, organizing, and communicating with each other.

Our priority will always be to keep things safe for everyone. Please find below some guidelines to help us all maintain a safe and respectful space:

What you can expect in our Slack community:

We are all here to help each other learn, grow, and organize. You can expect a safe and respectful community space where you can feel free to share your ideas about how we can build a better Canada together.

The CML NDP Slack is a harassment-free space with a zero-tolerance policy on bullying and hate speech.

Any harassment, bullying, hate speech, abuse, threats, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct of any kind will not be tolerated.

What you can expect from us:

All members of the CML NDP Slack deserve to be respected. Any harassment, bullying, hate speech, abuse, threats, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct of any kind will not be tolerated.

Anyone engaging in this type of behaviour will be removed immediately from the NDP–NPD Slack. We reserve the right to remove anyone from this online platform at any time and to also remove any hateful, inappropriate, or abusive comments and links.

Abusive comments reported to CML NDP Slack moderators will be investigated and dealt with in a timely manner.

Please report abusive comments to Slack NDP–NPD moderators at communications@cmlndp.ca.

How we will protect you:

Any threats reported to CML NDP Slack moderators by users will be investigated and escalated accordingly by the NDP.

We are proud to be a party with a diverse and active membership. It’s up to all of us to help maintain a safe and respectful space for everyone. Let’s have fun and be kind to each other!

Remember, Slack is a public communications tool. If there is something you wouldn’t consider saying publicly, you should not post it in Slack.
