As 2018 comes to a close, 2019 looms as a big year for us in Cowichan-Malahat-Langford.
The federal election may be called as early as the Spring and no later than October 21, 2019.
Here is a brief message from our MP and 2019 candidate for Cowichan-Malahat-Langford, Alistair MacGregor.
Where do your contributions go?
$10 – Pays for a lawn sign to go up
$50 – Send out more canvassers with the supplies they need
$100 – Buy office supplies for our volunteers
$200 – Rent equipment we need to run the campaign
$500 – Advertise in newspapers across the riding
$1200 – Pays for one month of rent for our campaign offices
What’s the deal with the tax credit?
Donations to the NDP are eligible for a generous tax credit, which means you get to help us build a better Canada, and get a nice big return at tax time – it’s win-win!
You get 75% of the first $400 you give. So at the end of the day, you spend $100 – but our team can invest $400 to train organizers, volunteers, and campaign managers.
